Can someone know my private info based on a simple email I send them?

So I sent someone I didn’t fully trust(a co-worker) a simple email, but am now concerned because a friend of mine told me that it is possible for someone (obviously one with smarts in computers) to find information on previously viewed websites still on the web browser (like my email login or what I have done on my Amazon account) and files on my computer (like the word documents on my computer that I store sensitive notes about my daily schedule and contact info, etc). Is this a real problem or is my friend mistaken?
This coworker works in software development. Can he use and abuse my private info?
yes
short answer no
long answer yes but it would take hours and its just not worth it
That’s a little more paronoid then I would think but you never know…..
do me a favor shoot the friend that told you this crap they have no ******* clue what they are talking about.
the most the email recipient can get is the IP address, which you cant do much with unless they have port information and know how to get through your firewalls…which they don’t.
The only way your co-worker can have access to that information is if the co-worker has physical or network access to your computer (assuming your computer is on a network and that your co-worker has elevated privileges to allow him to access your computer (eg, network administrator) , of which i highly doubt, your co-worker works in software development, shouldn’t even have to deal with or have the idea to remotely think of your computers.) Your information is safe, if you sent him an email via company email, your information is secure. If you emailed him with your private email, he then knows your private email and well, he has your private email. This person should not have access to any of this, therefore your documents are safe. However, if you suspect something is going on, talk to your boss or superiors about this concern. If your co-worker is somehow stealing private information, that is a legal matter that must be discussed, but first if you suspect, talk to your boss. In confidence i’ll say you shouldn’t be worried. Any more questions? Feel free to email me!
only your ip address but if you don’t have a firewall then they can use a port scanner to break into your computer but it’s pretty limited but very much possible. I’ve gotten ip addresses and used port scanners on the ip’s and am able to tell if the computer has a firewall and what OS they use and if they are using im services or bit torrent service and I can find out what isp you use.
And I’m not even a hacker I just learned this off of underground hacker sites.
